The Fairbanks Police Department is asking for the communities help in locating a missing person.

According to a press release sent out today, William James Sheldon was last seen on December 22nd, 2017 walking away from Badger Gas in North Pole, heading towards Bottles Street.
A missing persons report was filed on March 5th of this year and FPD has exhausted every resource to find Sheldon.
The police are asking people in the area to check abandoned buildings and cars on their properties for any signs Sheldon may have been seeking shelter.
Anyone with information about Sheldon's whereabouts is urged to call Detective Anthony Laska at 450-6451.
