Our Interior Wrestling teams were down south competing in tournament action over the weekend.

More specifically, they were involved in the massive, 43 team Lancer Smith memorial tournament in Palmer.

South Anchorage was the top team in this tournament, winning with a 268 point score.

Colony took second with 219 points, while Lathrop finished in third place with 183.

When it comes to our interior grapplers, North Pole's Bradely Antesberger was the only one to win their weight class, winning the 189.

Lathrop's Kobe Ames was also able to finish in the top three of his class, taking second in the 140.

Individually, North Pole's Elizabeth Schumaker won the 119 pound weight class, while Eielson's Jolie Lucas took the 103.

The wrestling teams will now return home for a pair of tri-meets tonight, Eielson and Delta will converge on Hutchison, while West Valley hosts North Pole and Lathrop.
