Brent Sass defends his title, wins back-to-back Yukon Quests
Brent Sass defended his Yukon Quest title, reaching Whitehorse after 10 days, 2 hours and 53 minutes. Sass earns back-to-back Yukon Quest victories, and the third of his career (2015).
Canadian Michelle Phillips gave Sass a run for his money, hot on his trail throughout the 1,000-mile International trail. Phillips reached the finish line in 10 days, 6 hours and 55 minutes.
Cody Strathe and Allen Moore battle for third place as of publishing.
Nora Själin, of Norway, is the lead rookie, currently residing at the Carmacks checkpoint.
