John Tobin Invitational Wrestling Tournament held in North Pole

North Pole High School hosted their annual John Tobin Invitational Wrestling Tournament over the weekend.

In the individual weight classes, Lathrop's Jeremy Bockert won the 112 pound weight class.

North Pole won the 125 thanks to Sabastian Benefield while Lathrop got two more wins thanks to Matthew Sanchez in the 140 pound class and Andrue Shepersky in the 160.

North Pole's Bradley Antesberger won the 189 pound class and was crowned the top overall wrestler for the tournament, bringing home a custom made championship belt.

The pats got their final win on the boy's side thanks to Brock Weatherspoon in the 285 pound weight class.

In the Girls Brackets, the Interior continued their dominance.

Eielson won the 112 pound class with Jolie Lucas, the 145 with Nailah Bealer, and the 189 with Debranna Bealer.

The Pats won the 125 with Elizabeth Schumaker and the 130 with Janice Dykes, while Lathrop's Desarae Matheny won the 160.
