The Alaska Goldpanners have dominated Bercovich 35 in their six-game series, outscoring them 64-9 heading into the finale. On Tuesday, Bercovich put up their best fight, taking a 3-0 advantage after the second inning. The Panners chipped away at the deficit, putting up single runs in the 4th, 6th and 8th innings to knot the game at 3 heading into the bottom of the ninth.

That is when Ben McKay stepped to the plate. With the bases clear, McKay drove a deep fly ball to center field, just beyond the outstretched glove of the outfielder. That bought enough time for McKay to circle the bases for a walk-off, inside-the-park home run.

"Feels great man. We are a resilient team, we usually find a way to win. They are a great bunch of guys, they love to see each other succeed, just a great group of guys," McKay said after the 4-3 victory.

The Goldpanners will host the San Francisco Seals next, a team they have split a pair of games with earlier this season.

"The bats are hot right now, we got a little bit tougher series coming up, some better competition. Hopefully what we did this series can go on to the next."

Game one of the six game series with the Seals begins on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Growden Memorial Park.
