The West Valley and North Pole soccer teams were in action last night on the FYSA Turf Fields.

The Wolfpack were victorious in both of these non-Conference battles, first winning the boy's game 6-1.

Seth Thomas and Michael Dow shared the scoring lead for the Wolfpack, both knocking in two goals.

Freshman Adam Raygor and Junior Garrett Crane registered the other two goals for the now 6-0 Wolfpack boys.

Daniel Crutcher secured the lone North Pole goal of the night.

The West Valley girls were also victorious in what was their season opener.

They defeated North Pole 1-0.

Regan Gray scored the only goal of the game in the first half, and then the Pack held strong on defense to secure the Non-Conference win.

Next up for these two teams, North Pole will host Wasilla tonight, while West Valley will play the Warriors on the turf on Friday.
