Do you have a student interested in learning about television broadcasting?

Each year, during the month of June, KTVF Channel 11 hosts a five-day annual Broadcast Academy geared toward students who are curious about how broadcasting works or interested in a broadcasting career.

KTVF Channel 11 will teach you the “behind the scenes” processes of broadcast television and commercial production. Students will engage in five days of intensive training from local experts and have hands on experience producing news segments and finished commercials. You will learn how to brainstorm, write scripts, create storyboards, shoot video, and learn about composition, lighting, editing, graphics, and directing. Your finished “products” will then air on KTVF Channel 11!
