Hunger’s real. You can help. Join Newscenter Fairbanks and Fred Meyer during September’s Feeding Alaska Project.

Participating in the Feeding Alaska Project will benefit our local food bank and help people in our community have access to the food they need.

During the month of September, there are two easy ways you can help to end hunger in our community.

Round Up at the Register

You can round up your purchase during checkout and your local Fred Meyer Fairbanks store will donate your change through the Kroger Co. Zero Hunger Zero Waste Foundation to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.

Buy a Bag at the Register

You can purchase a $10 virtual food bag at checkout at your local Fred Meyer Fairbanks store. The virtual food bags contain important items that will benefit and are needed at the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.
